The World is surprised that people are searching for where are all Muslim leaders and what their legacy is
Where Are the Muslim Nations When Palestine Starves?
In a world where there are nearly 57 Muslim-majority countries, many of them rich in resources, powerful in voice, and united under organizations like the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) the suffering in Palestine continues with unbearable silence.
We understand that not every country can engage in war. We know military action is complex, political, and risky. But humanity requires no permission. While children in Gaza die from bombs, others die silently from hunger, thirst, and disease and this is a crime we can no longer ignore.
Is food aid so dangerous? Is water a weapon? Is silence now Islamic policy?
If Muslim nations cannot send armies, why can’t they send food? If borders are blocked, why are voices silent? With over 1.9 billion Muslims in the world, can we not act like one body, as our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"The believers are like one body; if one part hurts, the whole body feels the pain."
Where is that pain now?
It’s time for leaders of the Muslim world to rise not with just speeches in conferences or statements on TV, but with real actions. Trucks of food. Medical teams. Pressure on international powers. Humanitarian convoys. Political courage.
If we cannot stop the war, we can still stop the starvation.
To do nothing is to be complicit. To remain silent is to betray our brothers and sisters.
Palestine is not alone unless we leave it alone.
